Cina Baru Year

Its that time of the year again where Chinese people disappear from the work place and suddenly appear in places like restaurants and homes EATING lots and lots of food.

I decided to come up with a list of things we do during CNY.

1. ANG POW collection babeh!!!
2. Eating!!! All the aunties combine together to create the dream team cooking force.
3. Drinks?! *hehe bring out the Vodka and the JD cousin.*
4. Now after we collect the ang pow we feel mighty rich so its time to GAMBLE. *but we Chinese abit kiam siap lar so we play 10sen 20sen lar*
5. Talking crap or should I call it GOSSIPING. This comes pretty much after the drinks, we gather around with all the cousins and talk crap about cousins *whisper: especially the ones that don't show up*
6. Visitations *urgh! this is the least enjoyable moment in CNY BUT no visit no ANG POW so got abit of incentive there lar haha*
7. I think that pretty much covers everything *perhaps I've missed out a few minor events, but if you feel that there are just somethings that just HAVE to be here then tell me*

Winter Break Summarized

1. Che Che arrived in Roanoke, went to pick her up.
2. Went to Massanutten ski resort. Snowboarded for a week.
3. Worked as a volunteer for winterfest for 2 days.
4. Went to Williamsburg to learn some history.
5. Went Snowboarding again but this time only for a day at winter green.
6. Went to Peaks of otter for lunch and then to the d-day memorial.
7. Tomorrow we'll be driving down to Roanoke to drop me Che Che off at the airport.

This pretty much sums up my winter break..
